COMMON QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know.

Do I need any experience to take the Level 2 Facials course?

No — Level 2 in Facials is open to complete beginners with no formal entry requirements. Whether you're starting a beauty career from scratch, switching industries, or supplementing existing beauty knowledge with a properly regulated qualification, this course is your foundation.

What's the difference between Level 2 Facials and an accredited facial course?

Level 2 in Facials is an Ofqual regulated qualification — nationally recognised, externally quality assured, and respected by employers across the UK. Accredited courses (like ABT) provide insurable certification but aren't regulated by Ofqual. For a long-term career in beauty, a regulated qualification gives you stronger credentials and clearer progression pathways.

How long does the Level 2 in Facials take to complete?

The qualification has a Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 120 hours, with 95 Guided Learning Hours. Most learners complete the course over 3-6 months depending on their schedule and pace. Practical training takes place at our Surrey Academy with flexible dates to fit around work and life commitments.

What can I do with the Level 2 Facials qualification?

On completion you can work in beauty salons, build a freelance or mobile facial skincare business, or progress to higher level qualifications including Level 3 beauty therapy and our L3 to L7 regulated aesthetic pathway. The qualification is recognised by employers and insurable through Policy Bee.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes. We offer 0% finance over 12 months for this qualification, subject to eligibility. You can also split the cost using Klarna or Clearpay at checkout. Apply via our finance form and we'll review your application within 24 hours.
