Course Structure
To achieve the full CAVA qualification, learners must complete three mandatory units:

Assess Occupational Competence in the Work Environment

Assess Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding

ASSESSMENT & EVIDENCE
The CAVA qualification is assessed through a portfolio of evidence, including:

Written assignments

Observation of live assessments
-
Witness testimonies and assessor feedback

Completed learner assessment records
-
Reflective practice logs

To complete the qualification, learners must:

Assess at least 2 learners, twice (4 assessments in total)

Use a minimum of 3 different assessment methods
-
Complete both workplace and classroom-based assessments
