Course Structure

To achieve this qualification, learners must complete three mandatory units:

 

  • understanding the principles and practiced of internally assuring the quality of assessment (t/601/15320)

  • Internally assure the quality of assessment (a/601/5321)
  • Plan, allocate and monitor work in own area of responsibility (h/600/9674)​

ASSESSMENT & EVIDENCE

Learners will build a portfolio of evidence showcasing their performance in the workplace.

 

Evidence must demonstrate:

 

  • x2 Separate practicals monitoring 2 different assessors (each assessing two learners)

  • Effective planning, standardisation, and feedback practices

  • Legal, ethical, and inclusive practice in quality assurance

 

 

Assessment Methods Include:

 

  • Direct observation in the workplace

  • Professional discussions

  • Work products (QA reports, plans, records)

  • Reflective accounts

  • Witness testimonies

 

All evidence must be valid, authentic, sufficient, and generated in a real work setting.
